From Brazilian grills and Ukrainian buffets to Mexican street food, noodles from Italy, Japan, and Vietnam, Alberta’s restaurant scene reflects an incredible range of global cuisines.
When I put out the call on Facebook for favourite restaurants, Albertans answered with a wide variety of suggestions. With almost 900 replies, I’ve been sorting through the recommendations, counting the repeat favourites, and organizing the restaurants Albertans say are worth the drive.
Below are some of Alberta’s most recommended ethnic restaurants with a regional theme. Did I miss your favourite?
