Where to Find Affordable Calgary Flames Merch

Calgary Flames

Whether you’re raising future Calgary Flames fans or simply supporting your kids’ love of the team, sometimes you have to buy Flames merch (as a long-time Oilers fan that’s hard to type!). Jerseys, hats, and memorabilia are all part of the excitement. But, dang, the NHL makes bank (especially when you’re buying for a family!).

I’ve pulled together a variety of spots to shop for Calgary Flames gear without breaking the bank. Now you can show your “team spirit” while still watching your budget – because, as a parent, every dollar counts!

(Okay, I’ll give! I did cheer for the Flames as a kid when I lived in Calgary, and it took me a few years to switch to Edmonton once I moved up here. A Flames game was the first time I ever attended a hockey game, and Harvey – who is WAY better than Hunter – was so good about entertaining me and the kid I was sitting with. He will always be my favourite mascot!)

Local Shops

We’re big believers in shopping local for everything we can. Whether you head to a second hand shop (list below), or a local store for your Flames swag, here are a couple places to start:

Second Hand & Thrift Stores

You never know what you’ll discover at your local second hand shop! You’ll probably have better luck finding Flames apparel when it isn’t the start of the season or playoffs, but it’s always worth a look!

  • Once Upon a Child (Varsity, Macleod Trail, Sunridge)
  • Goodwill
  • Value Village
  • Sports Stores (2nd Chance Sports, Play-it-Again Sports, etc)

Custom Printers & Makers

Custom printers and private makers need to be cautious about trademark infringement, but the prices are usually reasonable. Some shopping options include:

  • Etsy
  • Your local shopping centre
  • Facebook Marketplace
  • Karrot

Chain Stores

It’s usually all about mass production and money with chain stores, but at least they can hit the price point! Some popular Calgary Flames merch stops include:

Online Retailers

If you can wait a day (or ten) for your Flames gear to arrive, you may have better luck finding sizes online. A few options include:
